FBA closing fees up to ₹500 depend on the fee group Amazon puts your category in. The FBA column shows the group Amazon lists for Home Decor Products. Item price here includes any shipping charge the customer pays.
- Easy Ship. You pack, Amazon delivers. Flat fee per parcel: ₹55 for the first 500 g, ₹75 up to 1 kg, ₹112 up to 2 kg, then ₹34 for each extra kg up to 5 kg and ₹18 for each kg after that.
- FBA. Amazon stores, packs and delivers. First 500 g costs ₹39 regional or ₹65 national, ₹54 or ₹85 up to 1 kg, and ₹78 or ₹122 up to 2 kg. Pick and pack adds ₹17 per unit up to 1 kg, plus storage.

Weight handling rates are for the Standard STEP level, standard size items, effective 16 March 2026. Basic level pays a little more and Premium a little less.
- Home decor is one of the steepest fee categories above ₹1,000. A product at ₹1,050 can cost far more in fees than the same product at ₹999.
- Bedsheets and rugs sit in cheaper fee categories than general decor. Make sure your listing is mapped correctly.
- Wall art and mirrors are bulky. Volumetric weight usually decides the shipping fee.

What closing fee does Amazon charge on a ₹799 order?
From 7 September 2026, the closing fee on a ₹799 item is ₹48 with Easy Ship and ₹51 with Self Ship, and ₹30 with FBA. GST at 18% is added on top.
