How to use the Flipkart profit calculator
- Enter the selling price. What the customer pays on Flipkart, including GST.
- Pick your product's GST rate. The calculator takes that GST out, because it belongs to the government.
- Enter Flipkart's fees. Commission as a percentage, then the fixed fee and shipping fee in rupees, all from your Rate Card. Put any collection fee into the fixed fee box.
- Tick or untick input tax credit. If you are GST registered and claim credit on fees, leave it ticked.
- Add your costs. Product cost, packaging, ad spend per order, and your return or RTO rate with the cost of one return.
- Read the result. "Settlement before TCS and TDS" is what Flipkart pays out for the order. "You keep" is your profit after every cost.
What Flipkart has announced on commission
Two official announcements change the commission line for many sellers. We only list what Flipkart's own newsroom says.
- 0% commission below ₹1,000. Flipkart charges no commission on products priced below ₹1,000, for eligible sellers. Announced 14 November 2025. Source: Flipkart.
- 0% commission on fashion. Flipkart charges no commission on fashion products at every price point. Before this, zero commission in fashion stopped at ₹1,000. Announced 8 July 2026. Source: Flipkart.
Neither announcement gives rates for the fixed fee, collection fee, shipping or reverse shipping. Your exact commission, fixed fee, collection fee and shipping rates are in the Rate Card inside Seller Hub. Last checked 2 November 2026.
How Flipkart settlement is worked out
Settlement = selling price − commission − fixed fee − collection fee − shipping − GST on those fees
TCS and TDS come off after that, but you claim both back, so they are not a cost. For what each fee means and how to read the Payments section in Seller Hub, read Flipkart seller fees, explained simply. For when Flipkart pays you, see Flipkart seller payment terms.
Selling on Amazon too? Use the Amazon and Flipkart profit calculator with Amazon fees by category, and see how to calculate your real profit per order. Returns can sink a good price, so read how RTO and returns eat your margin.
Questions sellers ask
How do I calculate my Flipkart settlement?
Start with the selling price. Subtract the commission, fixed fee, collection fee where it applies, and shipping. Then subtract GST on those fees. What is left is your settlement before TCS and TDS. The calculator above does this as you type.
Does Flipkart charge commission on products below ₹1,000?
No, for eligible sellers. Flipkart announced on 14 November 2025 that it charges no commission on products priced below ₹1,000. The announcement does not cover the fixed fee, collection fee or shipping, so check those in your Rate Card.
Does Flipkart charge commission on fashion?
No. On 8 July 2026 Flipkart announced zero commission on all fashion products at every price point. Before that, zero commission in fashion applied only up to ₹1,000. Other fees are not covered by the announcement.
Where do I find my Flipkart commission rate?
Your exact commission, fixed fee, collection fee and shipping rates are in the Rate Card inside Seller Hub. Rates depend on your category, sub-category and price band, so look up each product before you set its price.
Are TCS and TDS a cost on Flipkart?
No. Flipkart deducts TCS under GST and TDS under income tax from your payouts, but both are credited to you. TCS is 0.5%. TDS on e-commerce payments is 0.1%, under Section 393(1) of the Income-tax Act, 2025 from 1 April 2026 (earlier Section 194-O). You claim them back through your GST returns and income tax, so the calculator leaves them out.
Are the fixed fee and shipping values here real Flipkart rates?
No. They are round example numbers so the calculator has something to show. Replace them with the fixed fee and shipping fee from your Rate Card for an accurate answer.
